A stumphole is what's left of a burning stump.  These holes are hazardous because they can be deep and still hot if someone is not paying attention and falls into the depths.  .

A catface is formed on the uphill side of a tree from burning debris rolling and resting on it.

The community from the Anthony Peak and the Eel River's Middle Fork area gives thanks to fire personnel.  Many locals had to evacuate due to threats from the fire.

Fifty-six people from the FS Eel River Station area met with fire officials to receive fire and evacuation updates and to  address questions and concerns.
