A Caterpillar D6 high-track bulldozer is pushing vegetation off of an old road grade.  This is in an open area between areas of heavy vegetation.  This creates a containment line where the fire can be stopped.

Several members of the San Juan Hotshot crew are cutting low limbs and brush and stacking it away from the trees along an opening. This creates a fuel break to serve as a containment line in an area where it is safe for people to work.  The fire is curren

A burned area along County Road 41 that has been mopped up, with very little smoke showing.  Firefighters from Engine 312 are looking for residual hot spots.  This area was burned out on 6/26.
