FIRE STATUS:

Tuesday morning fire officials lifted the Stage-1 evacuation for all areas affected by the Rombo Mountain fire. Residents should still be aware that fire crews will be working in the area as suppression efforts continue.

The east fork of Piquett Creek was the most active today. Crews completed the line around spot fires from the previous day.

Scattered showers and higher relative humidity brought cooler, damper air, which moderated fire intensity in the Capri Lake area.

On the west side of the fire, crews continued fireline erosion control and re-vegetation; crews are removing equipment and hose that is no longer necessary.

Helicopters continued water drops in some areas.

EVACUATIONS

The Stage-1 Pre-evacuations for all areas affected by the Rombo Mountain Fire have been lifted as of 8:00 Tuesday morning.
