Yesterday's Activities:
Firelines held Friday as high wind gusts picked up flames after morning showers left a tenth of an inch of rain on the fire.
Firefighters continued using fireline explosives to build line on the north side of the fire, south of U.S. Hwy. 12 as they mopped up
the east end of the fire and began rehabilitation efforts on the west end. Fireline explosives also were used to construct line south of
Two Medicine Creek.
Weather and Fire Behavior Forecast for Today:
Warm and clear skies are expected Saturday with valley highs 75 to 80 degrees and highs of 69 to 74 degrees above 6,000 feet.
Humidities will be 19 to 24 percent below 6,000 feet and 23 to 28 percent at higher elevations. Winds will be south, southwest 10 to
15 mph.
Today's Planned Actions:
More fireline explosives will be used to build fireline on the north side of the fire. Crews will construct direct and indirect line on the
southeast corner of the fire south of Cooper Lake. Firefighters will continue scouting fireline from Cooper Lake to Badger Guard
Station.

All entrances to Glacier National Park are open. U.S. Hwy. 2 remains open with a speed restriction in the fire area. Visit

of the Rocky Mountain Ranger District is closed to public use. There are closures in the Hungry Horse Ranger District as well.
Evacuation Level 1 (notification) is still in effect for East Glacier, and Evacuation Level 2 (preparation) is in effect for the areas
