Complex Wide: The fire line held in several areas. Crews attacked numerous spot fires and provided point protection. Air resources were used to help slow the growth on the perimeter of the fires. The potential for the fires to spread continues to be a threat. Today's weather will be warmer and drier resulting in a little more fire activity from yesterday. Thursday a weather system is projected to move into the area bringing higher relative humidity and the possibility of lightening. Falling snags and additional traffic due to fire efforts continue to be significant hazard.
Fisher Point Fire (11,863 acres) Crews will continue to construct control line on state lands while, trying to hold the fire north of Beaver Creek along the State Haul Rd., west of Upper Willow Creek along Standish Haul Rd and south of the Upper Willow Tributary. Two addition type 1 hand crews, previously ordered, have been added.
Wyman 2 Fire (33,866 acres) Crews will continue to control spot fires south of Stony Creek and monitoring, mop up and patrol along Rock Creek. They will begin to remove wrapping from some buildings. Eagle Creek continues to smolder and burn out.
