Incident: Conger Creek

Yesterday's Activities:
Conger Creek Fire grew by about 100 acres yesterday and is currently about 7500 acres. The fire made a push to the east and has crossed the Falls Point Lookout Trail #436. It continues to back into Dwight Creek and creep toward Falls Point Lookout. Fire did receive about .10 inches of rain on Thursday night and Friday morning.
As a result of the Conger and Railley fires, most of the backcountry on the Seeley Lake Ranger District has been closed.
Weather and Fire Behavior forecast for today:
Mostly sunny, isolated showers and thunderstorms, termperatures 60-70 degrees, humidity 40-55 percent, winds out of the northwest 8-12 MPH.
Today's Planned Actions:
Structure protection Crew hiking out from Carmichael cabin today. Packers will arrive today, with structure protection materials for the Burnt Cabin. Crew will hike to Burnt cabin Sunday, and perform structure protection tasks.
Special Notices, Alerts & Restrictions:
The area closure begins at Triple Divide in Sec. 6, T18N, R10W, runs southeasterly along the Lolo National Forest boundary through Olson Peak to Mineral Hill, then crosses to North Fork Blackfoot Trailhead. From the trailhead the closure goes north up Lake Creek to East Spread Mountain, turns westerly to Spread Mountain and runs southwesterly along (and includes) Spread Creek Trail NFST #166 to Monture Trailhead. From Monture Trailhead the boundary runs north along (and includes) Center Ridge Trail NFST #246 to Lodgepole Trailhead. From Lodgepole Trailhead the boundary runs cross country to Nome Point, on to Morrell Mountain, then turns north to Pyramid Pass Trailhead, continues to Pyramid Peak, then follows the Lolo National Forest boundary easterly to Triple Divide.
