The Conger Creek Fire grew moderately to 5600 acres on Sunday. The fire continues to back into the Dwight Creek Drainage and has spotted across Canyon Creek into the 1988 Canyon Creek Burn. It is displaying moderate spread rate with some torching and short crown runs in the 1988 Canyon Burn. Red flag warnings are in effect from noon until midnight tonight.

The Railley Mountain Fire, located 10 miles to the northwest of Conger grew 100 acres on Sunday and is now 1700 acres. The fire has backed into Young's Creek. It continues to grow laterally and has crossed Jenny Creek and has reached Young's Mountain to the east and Monture Mountain to the south.
