ROAD AND TRAIL WORK STILL UNDERWAY
WISDOM, MONT., Oct. 1, 2007-Travelers in the area burned by the Rat Creek fire, west of Wisdom, should expect to see equipment on forest roads. Crews will be working this fall on culverts and on other measures to keep runoff water from damaging roads in the fire area.
Officials also cautioned anyone wanting to use trails in either the Rat Creek fire area or in the Pattengail Creek fire area, near Wise River, that some trails may be impassable because of fallen trees.
Crews will be working this fall to clear trails, officials said.
