Released: 8/11/2007
Choteau, Mont., Aug. 11, 10 a.m.-Seven firefighters will mop up where the Fool Creek fire burned from Porcupine Creek and into the West Fork of the Teton River. This will ensure the fire is cool at this critical point.
Helicopters will douse hot spots with buckets in the Nesbit Creek and West Fork areas.
Sprinklers will again be run in the Massey Tract and at several backcountry cabins.
On Sunday, forecasters predict a return to the hot, dry weather of previous weeks and much increased activity from the Fool Creek fire.
