Updated Direction for Animals Needing Shelter
due to Evacuations from the Zaca Fire
Residents needing assistance in sheltering animals evacuated due to the Zaca Fire are no longer being directed to bring their animals with them to the Dos Pueblos shelter, but instead are being directed to call the Animal Services Zaca Fire Hotline at 681-4332. This hotline is available on a twenty-four hour basis. Callers will be linked to resources that can provide the transport or shelter services needed.
The shelter set up by the American Red Cross at Dos Pueblos High School remains open for human residents affected by the evacuation orders issued for the Zaca Fire.
