Madison Arm Fire Detected
West Yellowstone, MT... The Madison Arm Fire, detected earlier this afternoon, is burning on the Madison Arm of Hebgen Lake approximately 2 miles south of the Madison Arm Resort.
Numerous firefighting resources are on scene or responding to this 4 acre fire. Resources responding include smokejumpers, helitack members, and engine crew members.
The fire is burning in sagebrush and timber and continues to increase in size. The cause of the fire is unknown.
