Fire continues to spread south from Doctor Rock along the ridge line towards Crescent City fork of Blue Creek. If weather conditions permit, burn out operations will occur north and east of the main fire along the GO-Trail towards Chimney Rock. Crews continue to work in steep terrain, with falling snags and rollouts. They are monitoring fire progression along Crescent Creek Fork drainage and are checking for spots along GO-Trail adjacent to the firing operation from the previous operational periods. Fire managers continue to work closely with tribal advisors to ensure firefighting activity does not harm any cultural or sensitive sites.
