Frequently Asked Questions a new feature on today's fact sheet!

Why am I still seeing smoke coming from the fire area - I thought it was contained When a fire is declared 100% contained, that means there's a strong fire line completely around it. However, there will still be "hot spots" within the perimeter. Firefighters continue to mop up more than a football field's length away from homes and businesses. The fire will not be completely out until significant precipitation occurs.

Remarks:

Closures: The San Bernardino National Forest is tentatively scheduled to reopen to public access on Thursday, November 8. However, the burn areas will remain closed for public and firefighter safety. For further information, contact (909) 383-5688.
