Roads and Campground Closures Lifted

CLOSURES and RESTRICTIONS

July 24, 2008

All roads have now been opened including the Foresthill Divide Road and the Texas Hill Road. All campgrounds have been opened including the Mumford Bar Trailhead Campground, Tunnel Mills, North Fork, and Onion Valley. China Wall OHV Staging area is open. Some trails have been opened including: Euchre Bar, Italian Bar, and American Eagle.

Trail Closures Still in Effect

·· Mumford Bar Trail

·· Beacroft Trail

·· American River Trail (east of the Mumford Bar Trail to Sailor Flat Trail)

. Sailor Flat Trail

NOTE: Fire restrictions are in place on the Tahoe National Forest. This means, in part, that campfires are allowed only in designated areas and smoking is restricted to a closed vehicle or cleared area.
