Incident: Rail Fire Wildfire
Davis Creek and Rail Fires
Firefighters worked hard and as a result the Rail Fire is now 100% contained. The Davis Complex was contained 9/6/13.
Resources will remain on each fire to monitor for hot spots and continue with rehabilitation work. Rehabilitation will include falling snags that pose “imminent” danger water barring repairing fences and roads damaged during fire suppression efforts and restoring dozer lines where necessary.
The South Central Oregon Fire Management Team 3 will turn the fire back over to the Modoc National Forest Sunday Sept. 8.
