Size – Estimated 1750 acres
Discovered: 6 miles east of Arlee, MT on Saturday, July 27th at 1:58 p.m.
Cause: Human, Investigation continues.
Fuels: Mixed conifer with grass. Fuels remain very dry
Weather: Light easterly winds @ 8 - 15 mph in the morning, changing to upslope at 8 – 15 mph this (noon to 9:00 p.m.) with local gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon. Temperatures 63 - 68 with lows 50 – 55. Daytime Humidity 30 - 40 %. Again today, moderate inversion lifting at around 11:00 a.m. today.

Road Access: Jocko Canyon, Pistol Creek, and North Placid Roads currently remain closed to the public. Evacuation orders have been lifted, and access remains open for Jocko Canyon residents and assigned emergency vehicles only.
