PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES ON THE FIRE: 3 Type 1 crews, 1 Type 2 crew, 2 helicopters, 4 engines and overhead for a total of 122 personnel.
TODAY’S ACTIVITY: The fire behavior increased this afternoon due to the warmer and drier weather with increased winds. SATURDAY’S PLANNED ACTIVITY: Firefighters will continue to seek indirect contingency plans to the northwest and west of the fire, while continuing to prepare contingency lines on the western side working to the south. A recon flight will occur in the morning to more accurately determine hot spots and where firefighters will focus indirect suppression tactics.
