August 7 Lodgepole Fire Update
Incident: Lodgepole Wildfire
There was a slight change of wind direction yesterday that caused moderate fire activity in the White Valley Creek drainage with isolated active runs, group tree torching, and short range spotting.
Plans for today are to continue preparation for indirect firing operations on the north and east sides of the fire and to continue to mop-up and fire rehabilitation activities in the south and west sides of the fire. We will also provide initial attack support if requested by the local agencies.

Closure Area in Effect: Emergency Area Closure Order Number 04-13-13-552 went into effect July 29th to provide protection to forest visitors from current fire safety hazards.

All designated State, Forest and BLM roads defining the perimeter of the closure area
