While we did have a small amount of rain last night, no significant moisture was received last night or today.
Weather for tonight is expected to be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the evening and overnight. Our minimum temperature will be 43-48 with humidity going up to a maximum of 90-95%. The trend is to be cooler and wetter with winds at 5-10 mph. There is the possibility for some lightning in the area.
Tomorrow operations will be similar to what was done today and the demobilization of resources will continue as the needs are reduced on this incident. Incident Commander Tom Heintz thanked the crews today for their hard work on this incident, and pointed to the fact that they have done so without injury.
The temporary flight restrictions that have been in place over and around this fire area will be lifted tonight as well.
Special Concerns: New fire starts!
