CANYONS FIRE
Effective 6:00 pm today the Evacuation Levels for Number Two and Stiss Canyons to the end of the pavement will be reduced from a Level 2 to a Level 1. The homes beyond the end of the pavement will remain at a Level 2.
POISON CANYON FIRE
The Evacuation Levels in the vicinity of this fire are unchanged at this time.
- FIRST CREEK FIRE
Progress in suppression efforts has allowed reducing Evacuation Levels for First Creek and Granite Falls Road residents to a Level 2 effective at 6:00 pm today (September 19, 2012).
- EVACUATION LEVEL DEFINITIONS
Evacuation Levels 1, 2, and 3 are akin to a "Ready, Set, Go" level of preparedness with Level 1 asking residents to be ready to evacuate if conditions change, Level 2 meaning residents should be set to go at a moment's notice, and Level 3 meaning authorities are advising residents to evacuate because their homes are in imminent danger.
