The Pole Creek Fire is located approximately six miles southwest of Sisters, OR
The Deschutes County Sheriff's office engaged a reverse 911 for a level 2 pre-evacuation alert; be prepared to leave at a moment's notice. This alert has gone to the areas of Crossroads, Edgington/Remuda and the south side of Sisters.
This Pre-Evacuation alert/Level 2 notice was made as a result of the increased fire behavior that has occurred over the past 24 hours and as a reminder that citizens should be advised to remain highly vigilant during these situations.
The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office has continued to work closely with Oregon Incident Management Team 4.

Hold containment lines, continue to patrol and respond to spot fires. Construct dozer line northward near Forest Road 1018-700. Hot Shot crews work to anchor this dozer line, construct hand line westward near Millican Trail, to potentially contain fire spread to the north. Construct containment line from the southeast corner of the fire perimeter, tying to Wychus Creek, to potentially contain fire spread to the south.
