Effective Immediately Evacuations and Closures As of 8:30 a.m. the Sheep Fire activity has significantly increased. Current fire activity includes plume dominated run through John Day Creek Drainage and northeast . Evacuation sweeps are in being implemented for all of John Creek Drainage and all recreationists and residents along the length of Forest Roads 221 and 441 approximately 20 miles north and south of Old Adams Ranger Station. Residents in the vicinity of Florence are advised to evacuate as well. Fire personnel have pulled off firelines and are doing point to point structure protection.
