The Shasta-Trinity National Forest would like to remind visitors that the forest is still in fire restrictions; please be careful while visiting the national forest. Visitors are also asked to avoid the fire area as there is still many hazards such as fire weakened trees, ash pits which are stumps that have burned down to and below the ground level causing a large hole full of hot ash.
