The North Fork of Deep Creek has shown the most fire activity today. Pockets of dead fuel continue to burn on the upper third of the slope and helicopters were dropping water on it during the day. The heavy smoke around Livingston and in Paradise Valley is coming into this area from fires in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. There was a community information meeting today at the Pine Creek Methodist Church with agencies providing information on the fire, and post-fire rehabilitation assitance. For those who were unable to attend this community meeting, a booth will be available at the Livingston Farmer's Market on Wednesday evening to provide similar information.
