Area Roads Currently Open to Local Residents

Several area roads were temporarily closed yesterday afternoon (9/09) to all traffic, including local residents, due to increased fire activity on the McGuire Complex. Road closures included the 233 Road, the 522 Road, and the 222 and 1190 Roads from their intersection at Trapper Creek. The 233 Road, the 522 Road and the 222 Road were opened in the evening for local residents in Orogrande and Dixie/Comstock only. The 1190 Road is open for both residents and non-residents. Fire activity will be ongoing today and these roads may again be closed to all traffic without notice.
