Public Safety – Area Closure Reminder

Bozeman, MT - To provide for public safety during the Millie Fire incident, the Gallatin National Forest wants to remind the community of the continuing closure to public entry, of National Forest lands within the Hyalite Canyon area, the South Cottonwood Canyon Trail, and Leverich Canyon. For now these areas remain closed due to high fire activity.

Critical fire weather is predicted Sunday through Tuesday. Strong winds and high temperatures will cause fire activity to pick up.
