Reminder the Emergency Closure for Forest Road Remain in Effect on the Bagley Fire Area

Fire officials would like to remind visitors, hunters, recreationalists that under the Bagley Fire Emergency Closure Order No. 14-12-02 that several forest roads main closed.

Fenders Ferry Road (34N17) and Reynolds Basin Road (35N46) leading to the Madrone Campground

Forest Roads starting at the McCloud Bridge and leading to Madrone Campground. Official names for these roads are Fenders Ferry Road (34N17) and 35N56.

Lower Squaw Valley Road (39N21) at Squaw Valley Road (Forest Route 11)

This closure is being implemented to protect public and firefighter safety during the Bagley Fire Incident on the Shasta-Trinity National forest. The area will be closed to ensure that the public does not enter into an area where suppression rehabilitation efforts may be ongoing. The roads will be closed due to hazardous conditions, such as low visibility, dust, narrow and windy road conditions and increased fire operations traffic.
