The fire continues to spread to the north and east and has crossed onto Lassen National Forest at Badger Mountain. NorCal 1 Incident Management Team took command of this fire as of August 7 at 6pm. The fire is actively burning and causing spot fires which are challenging the firefighters. The spot fires near Badger Mountain were aggressively attacked yesterday with air tankers. Firefighters will continue direct and indirect handline construction.
