New Condon Air Quality Monitoring Station
Incident: Condon Mountain Fire Wildfire
Released: 9/27/2012
An air quality monitoring station has been set up at the Condon Work Center to allow local residents to track how smoke from the Condon Mountain Fire is affecting air quality in this part of the Swan Valley. Its recording can be viewed under "Smoke #24" at http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/smoke.pl . To indicate the local time, subtract six hours from the time posted on the site. See the attached "Air Quality Index Health Ratings" chart to interpret the data. Also see the attached "Protect Yourself from Wildfire Smoke" poster. If you have any questions about the air quality monitor and smoke conditions, please contact the Condon Mountain Fire Information Line at (406) 754-0127.
