The circulation between an upper level trough across the Pacific Northwest and departing ridge of high pressure over western Texas will increase moisture over the fire today. There will be chances for widespread wetting rain from today through the weekend. In addition, flash flooding and mud/debris flows will be possible. The increase in cloud cover will result in cooler temperatures and higher relative humidity levels through the weekend. Please be careful if traveling SR-31 through the fire should rain develop.
