Incident: Lost Lake Fires Wildfire

Location: SW of Teasdale, Utah

Cause: Under Investigation

Size: 2,075 acres

Fuels: Mixed conifer and pinyon/juniper fuel types

Observed Fire Behavior: Creeping with isolated torching

Assigned Resources: 9 crews, 4 engines, 3 helicopters, 417 total personnel

Containment: 82 percent

Remarks: Today, fire crews will continue with monitoring, mop-up operations, and fire suppression repair activities.

On Thursday the Incident Management Team (Wilde) will turn the Lost Lake fire over to the local Fremont River Ranger District. Fire resources will remain on the fire to monitor and continue with fire suppression repair activities.

The closure to the Wayne Wonderland Airport has been lifted, also the temporary flight restrictions (TFR).

An area closure for the fire on the north slope of the Boulder Mountain remains in effect with the exception of route 179 (the north slope road ) to Fish Creek, Beaver Dam, Blind Lake, and Green Lake. All other routes west of Green Lake to The Great Western ATV Trail to the west are closed. This includes route 521 that accesses Round Lake, Left Hand, and Donkey Reservoirs.

All Evacuations have been lifted.

Unless there are significant changes in the fire behavior this will be the last press release on the Lost Lake Incident.
