Smoke Column Visible From Bayfield Area

With drier, more unstable air over the Little Sand Fire, a smoke column is very evident from the Bayfield area. This results from increased activity on the south end of the fire. The fire remains north of the Piedra River and First Fork Creek. This is within the desired containment area, and is not a spot fire or a new ignition.
