The dryline will be oriented roughly a long a Hobbs to Pecos to Lajitas line each afternoon.

A Type 1 incident management team, the Southern Area Red Team, has established unified to manage the Livermore Ranch Complex Fire.

Yesterday afternoon, erratic winds caused the Livermore Ranch Fire to jump containment line, dropping the estimated containment from 50 percent to 0 percent. Incident Commander Paul Hannemann announced Tuesday morning the wildfire is now 25 percent contained.

Resources assigned to the Livermore Ranch Complex include three hand crews, two Type 2 helicopters, four single-engine air tankers, four heavy air tankers, 12 Type 6 engines, five Type 2 dozers and a Type 1 incident management team. Additional resources have been ordered and are scheduled to arrive today.

County Fire Marshal Stewart Billingsley would like to remind county residents that on a day with a Red Flag Warning or critical fire weather, no outdoor welding, grinding or anything that could produce a spark is allowed.
