County Line Fire Announcement

Smoke Advisory County Line Fire April 14, 2012 4:00pm

Incident: County Line Fire Wildfire
Released: 4/14/2012

Based on predicted weather and dispersion models, smoke from the County Line Fire is expected to continue dispersing to the northwest through tonight and all day tomorrow. The fire is not producing as much smoke as earlier in the week, so daytime concentrations are expected to remain light at ground level. This evening, smoke could settle as the inversion develops, reducing visibility on local highways. Drivers should be cautious in areas where smoke is encountered on roadways. If smoke combines with fog in low lying areas, then visibility can be reduced to hazardous levels.
