Incident: Blue Alder - Central Zone Prescribed Fire

The Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District will be completing about 130 acres of ignition in the Blue Creek area about 5 miles east of Coeur d'Alene, beginning Wednesday May 16. Burning was previously delayed due to air quality restrictions, but clearance has now been obtained. Ignition will take approximately 3 days, and the burn units will be patrolled daily until the prescribed fire is out.
