March 19 Update
Incident: Red Cedar Reduction Prescribed Burn 2012 Prescribed Fire

Firefighters have completed approximately 650 acres. Block F3 in the Five Lakes area, and blocks S4, S3, S5, and the northern portion of S1 in the South Boundary burn unit are now complete. Due to increased moisture, additional plans to burn are on hold for now. Firefighters still have plans to burn additional blocks in the South Boundary, Point, and Hunting areas later this spring if conditions are favorable to meeting resource objectives.
