March 18 Evening Update
Incident: Red Cedar Reduction Prescribed Burn 2012 Prescribed Fire

Today (March 18) firefighters burned approximately 15 acres in block S3 and approximately 150 acres in block S5 in the South Boundary burn unit along Goddard Road. They also burned approximately 30 acres on the north end of the S1 block in the South Boundary unit, near Guy Sandy. Smoke is present north of Guy Sandy this evening, however conditions are expected to improve in the morning. Rain is anticipated on March 19.
