March 17th Update
Incident: Red Cedar Reduction Prescribed Burn 2012 Prescribed Fire

Today firefighters completed approximately 65 acres in the Five Lake Area. Some smoke may be present in the Five Lake area during the night of March 17th, but conditions are expected to improve in the morning.
Tomorrow firefighters plan to continue burning along Goddard Road in the S5 unit and complete S3, weather permitting. Wind from the south is expected to move smoke north onto the lake and into the Buckhorn campground area. Smoke may impact traffic along Goddard Road, please turn your lights on, slow down and watch for firefighters along the road.
