The Wallow Fire Has Been Declared 100% Contained

The Wallow Fire is being declared 100% contained as of 1800 hours today! Fire resources will be released over the next several days and local Forest Service fire resources will continue monitoring the area. The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests wishes to thank all of the fire fighters, local, state, and federal agencies, cooperators, as well as, all the community support received during this event. This will be the final Wallow Fire update, and we will continue sending out BAER updates on an ongoing basis
