Indian Trail Fire Local Area Closures

Incident: Indian Trail Wildfire

The Indian Trail Fire is estimated at 3,500 acres and 5% contained. Tom Heintz's Incident Management Team has assumed management of the Fire and planned activities for today are to utilize available air support and ground crews to continue direct suppression work.

Campgrounds on Holter Lakd are closed, Beartooth Game Range is closed, and Beartooth Road is closed to all traffic.

There are currently 4 crews, 15 engines, two dozers and 5 helicopters assigned to the Indian Trail Fire. An estimated 243 people are currently working on the blaze.
