Current Situation: Friday crews continued to mop up 300 feet inside the lines and around structures. Worked on rehab, and assessed and reported any fire related damage. Last night the infra-red crew found some hot spots and crews worked at putting them out.

Today, firefighters will continue to mop up areas targeted by thermo-vision, 300 feet inside the perimeter and around structures, improve control lines and assess and report fire related damage. We will continue to send crews home today and tomorrow.

The fire will be turned back to the local agency this evening.

Participating Agencies: The Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 3 would like to take this time to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the Fire Agencies who responded, and to all the others who helped us: utilities, local media, Chamber of Commerce, merchants and all the citizens for their support.

It is the support from all of you throughout the community that helps make our emergency response efforts successful. We were happy to be able to serve your community this summer and we wish you the best throughout the fire season.

· Not all fires are disasters. Under the right conditions wildfires perform a vital role in maintaining forest health and preventing catastrophic wildfires from occurring.
