Incident: Middle Fork

Trails in the Middle Fork of the Judith have been re-opened. Hikers are reminded that the Jefferson Division of the Lewis and Clark National Forest is now under Stage II Fire Restrictions. Campfires and charcoal use is NOT allowed anywhere in the Jefferson Division of the Lewis and Clark National Forest. Also internal combustion engines may only be operated from 1:00 am until 1:00 p.m. and a patrol is required for two hours following cessation of any activity to ensure no fire has been ignited by the user's equipment.
