July 10, 2008 at 3:30 p.m.

EVACUATION NOTICE & PROCEDURES

THE RECOMMENDED EVACUATION HAS BEEN LIFTED

FOR THE CALIENTE/BODFISH ROAD (COUNTY ROAD 483)

FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SADDLE SPRINGS ROAD AT HOOPER HILL

SOUTH TO THE PIUTE MEADOWS TRADING POST.

Shelter Information

A shelter at the Kern Valley Senior Center, 6409 Lake Isabella Blvd. is now open. Animal control will be on site to assist with companion animal sheltering if needed.

Large Animals

Residents with large animals should contact the Kern County Office of Emergency Services at (661) 391-7118. See the Animal Sheltering document on our website.

Valley View (off Saddle Springs Road), Red Mountain Estates, Claraville and Liebel Ranch.
