The Bradley Fire was reported July 20th at approximately 4:00 p.m. Due to the location of the fire there was a heavy initial attack response. The Bradley Boy Scout Camp was evacuated in cooperation with Custer County Sheriff’s office, as well as campers in the general area. Area closure (Order Number: 04-13-13-549) was lifted Saturday, July 27th. Currently, the fire has a complete hand-line and hose lay around the fire perimeter. An engine crew continues to monitor and engage in mop up activities to fully control the fire.
This will be the final fire update for the Bradley Fire unless there is a significant change in fire activity. Any further updates for this incident will be posted to www.inciweb.org
