The Sisters fire began on the Modoc National Forest on Thursday October 11 due to more accurate mapping the fire is 142 acres with a 100 % containment. The Fire is currently under investigation. Several ground resources are are on scene and involved with the fire supression and mop up operations. Three Sisters Trail and Lyon Trail within the Lava beds National Monument are closed for the safety of the public.
