Incident Overview
The Wilson Fire was reported on Saturday (September 22) at 2:00pm burning 8 miles southeast of Roundup, Montana in timber and sage. Musselshell County and other fire departments responded to the blaze, and Montana DNRC assisted with air tankers, helicopters and engines.
The fire quickly grew in tinder-dry fuels and is now estimated at 4100 acres and 5% contained.
