The Coal Fire burned to the south end of the Salt Creek Fire from the beginning of August 2012. It remained mostly east of Interstate 5 near the Gilman Road area (Exit #698). The Coal Fire is 100% contained and fireline repair is in progress. The fire is in patrol status, meaning that firefighters will regularly partrol the fire area to ensure that containment lines are not threatened. This will be the last update of this InciWeb site.
