Incident Overview
Como Fire is burning in pinyon pine/juniper habitat on BLM public lands approximately ten miles southeast of Dayton, Nevada. The cause is under investigation, but numerous lightning strikes occured in the area on Saturday evening, September 9. The Sierra Front Type III Incident Mangement Team will take over management of the incident at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10.
