Incident Overview

The area closure on the McGuire Complex on the Red River Ranger District has been lifted, due to precipitation received during a recent season-ending event.

Visitors should be aware when they enter all burned areas in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests that they do so at their own risk. Substantial hazards exist in the form of snags, burned out stump holes, and material rolling on hillsides and onto roads. Please use all caution.

Suppression damage repair continues thorughout the McGuire Complex. Patrol by engines. Measurable preciptation on the entire fire area this morning, continuing off and on throughout the day.

Crews will continue patrol and mop-up of all divisions throughout the fire area. Rehab efforts are in full swing. BAER team is in place.
