The fire started on Thursday, August 16th at 5:00 p.m. just 4 miles south of Shoshone, Idaho. The fire's initial update was 100 acres and moving to the east. The fire eventually grew to 800 acres, and was contained last night at 10:00 p.m. Ground resources are on scene today and expecting to control the fire by 6:00 p.m. tonight.
